El Volume Profile muestra cuánto volumen se negoció en cada nivel de precio. El POC es el nivel con más volumen; el área de valor agrupa en torno al 70 % del volumen, y sus bordes son el VAH (arriba) y el VAL (abajo).

Muchos operadores lo usan como mapa: el precio tiende a reaccionar en esos niveles, aunque no siempre. En CFD de oro solo hay volumen de ticks, que es una aproximación del volumen real y puede variar según el bróker.

Volume Profile shows how much volume traded at each price level. The POC is the level with the most volume; the value area holds about 70% of the volume, and its edges are the VAH (top) and VAL (bottom).

Many traders use it as a map: price tends to react at those levels, though not always. On gold CFDs only tick volume is available, which approximates real volume and can differ by broker.

At PhoenixWave we study it as context information. Before using any level as a filter, we test it on our own data.
